In June 2001 we launched EmpresariasNet, a service designed and managed by AV ASESORES for the Spanish Institute for Women and CSC, which offers on line advising services for entrepreneurs and businesswomen throughout Spain. The portal counts on about 7.000 registered users and has answered more than 15.000 consultations since its creation.

www-e-empresarias.net was awarded last year as one of the best business ideas in the Internet, by Actualidad Económica. Moreover, the European Commission has selected EmpresariasNet as the best Spanish practice to support women´s self-employment and has therefore included it in their Good Practices Guide in the Promotion of Female Entrepreneurship launched on 28 th March, 2003, during the European Forum on Female Entrepreneurship held in Brussels.
